Oops.. busy summer!

I have been neglecting my homework again – sorry.  How come life continues to go faster and faster and FASTER!?  It still feels like May to me…  All is good with the Handleys.  Jason’s work is going great – and so is mine.  Ty is HUGE and big into ‘choo-choo’s’ and drawing (on the walls too) right now.  We have definitely seen the ugly head of a tantrum or two (20) but we are all surviving and having a great summer.  He had his 18 month appt. and is still in the 94th percentile for both height and weight.  I assume this has to stop at some point?  It’s not like Jason & I are tall or anything?

Ty and I went up to Baltimore last weekend for a Mee-Maw visit and this past weekend I went to Chicago for a girls weekend with my friend Julie.  We are hittin’ a wedding this weekend in Belhaven, NC and then Jason heads to St. Louis for work – whew!

Summer Ty fun

The Handleys are still really enjoying the great weather NC brings!

We went to a friend’s pool in Bedford yesterday with Ty – who obviously HATED every minute of it.  NOT.

He has really been alot of fun lately.  The house also makes it easy to put him in the backyard and just RUN.  I was painting his ‘playroom’ this weekend so I will try put pics up when that is finished.  Jason, Ty and I are headed to FL this weekend to see auntie pammy and uncle richard

Topsail Beach – Memorial Day weekend

We had a great (but exhausting) time with Ty at Surf City this weekend.  More later – I have about 5 million email to catch up on!!!  xxoo

We are headin’ to the beach with some friends.  It will be there first time Ty has been to a NC beach – he has only done Florida up until now.  It should be interesting.  It could go remarkably well… or NOT.  I will update Tuesday

it’s getting hot, hot HOT!

and it’s only April!  We had 90 degree weather in Raleigh this weekend – and the Handleys were bakin’!  We are going to have a real adjustment period this summer to this weather.  And to top it off we have the whitest baby on the planet.  He is such a water baby – I have got to get to Target and get one of those ‘water table’ things.  We start out second round of swim lessons in a few weeks but our local pool should be opening in a few weeks.  Plenty of ways to keep cool!

We also hit Cary’s Spring Days craft fair with my parents this weekend.  AND went to a wedding.  What a crazy busy fun time we have been having!
