It’s evident that I don’t have time to blog much anymore when my posts change from days of the week to a MONTH. People tell you that’s what happens when you have a kid – and those people are right. Where is the time going? I guess that is a question I will be asking myself for the rest of my life.
The Handleys are doing pretty good. February has mainly consisted of home searching, mortgage meetings and work. Both Jason & I are fortunate enough to be very busy at work. More busy than I would like – but I vow not to complain when others are losing their jobs. We have chosen our house – put forward an offer and it has been accepted! Our closing date is March 27th. Now we are just spending evenings signing our life away and gathering old financial documents to prove we are not bums. I am ready for the fun stuff to begin.
My mom (mee-maw) and pam came into town this weekend for a quick visit. My faithful camera has finally croaked – so I do not have many pics to share (i have an upcoming birthday – hint, hint) but here are a few…
Ty is as crazy as ever. Funny, energetic, needy, loud, destructive – I could go on and on. He is very into making animal noises lately – and has really started to expand his vocab – doggy, ball, bath, vroom-vroom, book – and lots of other random noises. I will do my best to get a new camera soon and post more pics. I can;t wait to get them this summer with him at the pool. Did I mention our new house has a neighborhood pool? It’s one of the reasons we got it. I plan to spend every Saturday at the pool with him – wearing his butt out!
