Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

November 21, 2008 · 1 Comment

We had out first ‘good’ snow in raleigh this morning!  It snowed for a few minutes on Wednesday – but that doesn’t count.  It was really coming down when we all got up this morning and we made sure to get Ty outside to see it (and eat it) before it stopped.  As a side-note… Jason does not have pants on ini this picture.  Which made the whole scene even funniest (especially to the neighbors).

Holy Crap! 11 months!

November 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Where has the year gone?  Ty turned 11 months old yesterday and we celebrated by sending him to his babysitter for a whole 8 hours.  Talk about feeling guilty!  Yesterday was Jason’s first day at his new (well, kinda new – same company, new title) job so we are both back to work fulltime now.  Which meant yesterday was Ty’s first full day with Casi and Charlie.  Casi is the wonderful mom I found with an adorable 1 year old named Charlie.  Ty did half-days with her last week and did great.  When he got home last night he was absolutely exhausted and I had to wake him up this morning!

Jason and I had tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld’s stand-up in Raleigh Friday night (thanks, Murph!) and we had a great time.  It’s such an amazing feeling to have babysitters on hand for a night out! (thank you Terry & Debbie too!)  We got up super early Saturday morning to drive to MD for my Dad’s (AKA Pee-Paw) 70th birthday party.  Talk about a wild and crazy night.. NOT.

What do you mean I need to lose weight?!

This is Ty’s new ’shocked’ face that he makes almost everytime he sees someone new.  It is hilarious.  He first did it to a little black kid in line at the bagel place.  Everyone in line just about fell out.  He also holds this face for about 10 seconds at a time which makes it look even more bizarre.  What a goofy child we have!
