AND MY LAST DAY OF WORK!
Only a few quick pics for you this evening – I am so exhausted. Need to go put the fat feet up and do some Suduko. I had a great last day at work – got cute gifts, had yummy cupcakes and a nice pub lunch out with Jason. I will miss all the fun and shenanigans of working – but not miss the swollen feet!

And you know no Halloween is complete without Star & DeNiro in costumes. Can’t you see how much Star loves it. NOT. She wouldn’t even walk – I had to carry her in her sling. You should have seen me walking through the neighborhood like this – no wonder people think Americans are crazy.

More tomorrow folks.. have a good night and be safe! We had 10 ‘trick or treaters’ this year! I think that’s a record… xoxo

Not really! Office Space was on last night so I thought the quote was appropriate. Jason got back pretty late last night from London – he went to the Dolphins game at Wembley Stadium. Pretty big deal for NFL to be in the UK – I mean, it’s not a very rough sport compared to Rugby!

and courtesy of Halloween this week – here’s a pic to get you in the spirit…thanks Dianne!

Now if only I could scan that ‘mummy costume’ picture of me – some of you know what I am talking about. I LOVE Halloween! I get so bummed that it’s not a big deal over here. I mean, no candy corn, no stores full of candy, no jack o lanterns – BOO. Well, hopefully next year we will be back in America and able to take part in the tradition of commercialism! Let’s hope.
And thanks to Carey & Payton for my wonderful package in the mail today – I know this hat is suppsed to be for Ty but I thougt it looked just as fetching on me

It’s that time of year again – the week every single one of your co-workers comes to work (or not!) with sniffles, coughs, tissues and antibiotics – and shares their cooties with ME! Thank you all very much. I have been the ‘anti-bacterial wipe nazi’ this week but have still managed to get a bad cold. Which is really making sleep even more difficult for Jason & I. Oh well, all we can say is hopefully it will begin to prepare us for the sleepless nights to come!
Embarassing as this is to say – we are also having a bit (ok, more than a bit) of an issue with snoring. LOUD snoring. This has really only started this past week but we honestly don’t know what to do about it! Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. We have tried earplugs (barely made a dent in the noise level), nose strips (help a bit) and sleeping in different positions (hard when you are huge). The only thing we have come up with so far is Jason sleeping in the guest room
. HELP!

It is nice and crisp here in the UK this week – makes me think of Halloween and football! Jason is going to the Dolphins game in London this Sunday with some American chaps from his work. He has so far been able to hold off sharing this cold with me – hopefully he will hold out until the game is over. And we are still waiting patiently for our ‘bump pictures’ to come back – we had our pictures taken 2 weeks ago now and I can’t wait to see them and share them with you all. Stay tuned…

I’M TIRED, MAN! This week more than any – I am just pooped. Any opportunity to be in pj’s and be horizontal, I am there. Good thing Jason & I don’t have too much planned this weekend – we really have most everything done. Our last (!!) birth class was this morning – I can’t believe where the last 5 weeks have gone! Other than making some cupcakes (still my only real craving) and walking the dogs today – we don’t have much to do…. OH YEAH – except watch the RUGBY WORLD CUP FINAL!!! Go England!
Thursday Night – after work at a local restaurant…
walkin’ the pooches

I haven’t been feeling as well this week – not really poorly or anything – but it’s tough because I have felt so good until now. My hands and feet (mainly hands) are really starting to swell which is giving me some major carpal tunnel syndrome. Bummer. Makes it hard to blowdry my hair in the morning! I do have my priorities
Have a fab weekend!! xoxox, g + muppet

Happy Sunday
Now that we have an actual baby dresser – it’s time to wash and organize all the wonderful baby clothing we have and start figuring out what the heck to do with everything we have received! I left the Baby Bjorn carrier up to Jason to decipher – yet it is hard to get a real feel for it without a real baby. Insert DeNiro.
You can carry baby facing you…

or facing outwards (much funnier)

Next week – diaper changing on Starlet! (just kidding) The best thing was – he really seemed to enjoy it!
Quick pic of Aysel, Lisa and me at Morton’s for dinner last week for Aysel’s birthday. Can you tell which one is me!?

I am still a bit uncertain about the new handles (do they look girly to you?) – but Jason did a great job painting! Here is the link to the BEFORE pic –> EBAY
It was cream/off-white with gold gilding around the gold handles. As soon as Mom brings us the changing pad when she visits – it will be all done

And a bit of an update on the nursery – we (mainly Jason
) are making some good progress! Yesterday involved new wooden blinds (for many naps) and new paint.
BEFORE (if you remember – eeek!)

Slowly but surely we are getting things done. Thanks (so much) to my friend Nav’s mum (great seamstress) – we now have a place for babe to sleep! We purchased the basket on Ebay but didn’t like the light wood stand nor the off white fabric.. so, voila!

Just a quick Mupp-date (ha!) on this so-called nursery we are attempting to create in our matchbox-sized house…
BEFORE – our cluttered and full office. Took out large bookshelf unit and my ‘make-up station’ (as Jason calls it), repaired wall, re-painted…

putting together Ty’s crib (piece of cake! – for Jason)

The new crib residents. Jason thinks it’s hilarious but I am starting to worry especially how much time DeNiro wants to spend in there! Of course he can’t get in himself so he barks at us until we pick him up and put him in. What a weirdo.

Stay tuned for more progess this weekend!
